Architectural scale model, Lille
A gigantic scale model of the Caisse Fraternelle de Capitalisation, in Dutch the Broederlijke Kas voor Kapitalisatie, a large insurance institution. It was originally founded in 1913 in Lille and was absorbed into Gan Capitalisation in 1977. Gan itself became part of the insurance group Groupama. The building can be found at 6 to 8 rue Leon Trulin in Lille, France.
The scale model is large and in very good condition. Made of a kind of synthetic material and wood, and hollow on the inside. We do not dare say how old the piece is, but probably at least mid 20th century.
Dimensions: 84 W x 18 D x 53 H cm
