Library ladder on wheels

Large wooden rolling library ladder, presumably from a library, archive or department store. Finished in dark stained wood, probably oak or beech. The ladder has an open spindle construction on the sides and a sturdy handrail along the steps.

The underside has four original cast iron wheels, on which the ladder can be moved across the floor. In very good condition. Beautiful colour and patina.
