Pair of putti lights
Decorative pair of putti in gilded and polychrome wood, each modelled as a floating cherub with spread wings and a draped loincloth.
Both figures carry carved branches, with leaves in the hands made of painted metal. Behind them are small fittings for lighting. We have not tested whether the fittings still work. Originally from France or Italy, 19th century.
