French hobnail safe

An original French hobnail safe dating from 1850 to 1890, made by Magaud de Charf of Marseille, France.

To open the safe both left keys have to be turned. A third key once sat on the right; it is not present and has no further influence on the lock. At the bottom of the safe is a drawer for additional storage.

This example is large and weighs between 200 and 250 kg. Signs of use in keeping with its age and some rust here and there.
