A 19th century French coffee table, crafted from solid fruitwood, presumably cherry wood.
The table has a rectangular top made from wide wooden planks with a warm honey-brown colour and a distinct natural patina. Along one long side are two drawers with simple wooden knobs.
The base consists of four straight, square legs and a simple crossbar. The top shows various signs of age, discolouration and minor irregularities which contribute to its authentic character.
The table was probably originally made as a low work or utility table and is now ideal for use as a coffee table.
Dimensions: 178L x 78W x 53H cm
